captureI come from a small community of Spaxmen near Douglas Lake. It’s a place where everybody knows everybody. Growing up I always wondered what the world was like, I had so many questions. So coming into university I decided to pursue my education in Geography and History. My time spent at university has taught me a great deal of life lessons I have spent countless hours studying, working on papers and just trying to stay a float. In the time that I have been here I have been an Aboriginal Mentor, I helped first year students coming into university, for 4 years. I was also a Study Abroad Ambassador for a year because in the summer of 2012 I studied overseas for a semester in Australia so coming back I just helped promote studying abroad. I would love to have a job where I am working outdoors, however I love teaching so my end goal is to get my Batchelor of Education degree with which I will teach high school.
